Everton FC eyeing a move for Leicester City FC flop Ahmed Musa

Everton are reportedly trailing Leicester forward Ahmed Musa, with the intentions of signing the pacey forward during the January transfer window.

The Toffees have been looking for a new forward capable of scoring goals after they lost their main goal threat Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United but have failed to sign one.

While the likes of Wayne Rooney and Sandro Ramirez seemed like good replacements initially for Ronald Koeman’s side, they have failed to score on a consistent basis so far this season and it is clear to see that Everton are missing the goalscoring threat of Lukaku at the moment.

As a result, Everton are reportedly looking for a new attacker and they have reportedly identified Leicester City forward Ahmed Musa as a realistic target for pursue during the upcoming January transfer window.

The 26-year old has struggled to break into the Leicester team on a regular basis since his arrival to the King Power Stadium last season and he seems well down the pecking order under Craig Shakespeare this season.

Nonetheless, it has to be said that the Nigerian is undoubtedly a fine player, as proven by his previous exploits at CSKA Moscow as well as for his national team and he could prove to be a gamble worth taking for Everton.

Musa’s past record shows that with right service, he can indeed get goals on a consistent basis and the transfer to Everton in January might just be a win-win situation for all parties involved.
