Marco Silva: Everton appoint former Watford and Hull boss as new manager

The Everton board have appointed Marco Silva as our new manager. The 40-year-old ex-Watford and ex-Hull City manager has signed a three year deal and will charge of Sam Allardyce’s old squad straight away.

Big Sam was sacked two weeks ago at the end of the season after just six months in charge and with us playing some truly terrible football. Marco Silva himself was sacked by Watford in January, with the Watford board blaming the decision on Everton’s initial approach for the Portuguese way back in November.
