Match Preview: AFC Bournemouth vs Everton

Venue: Vitality Stadium

Date: 26/11/2015

Kick-off: 15:00 (BST)

Match

Everton travel to the Vitality Stadium to square off against a struggling Bournemouth side this weekend and the Toffees will surely be keen on continuing their good run of form by claiming another victory.

Everton have been very impressive in recent weeks and the Toffees managed another thumping victory with a 4-0 triumph over struggling Aston Villa last weekend.

On current form, Everton look strong contenders for a European placed finish but manager Roberto Martinez cannot allow his side to get complacent.

The clash on Saturday against Bournemouth seems like another straightforward win for Everton but Martinez’s men will not take anything for granted and the match should be a tough battle for the away side.

Everton Team News

Everton have a host of their star players such as Leighton Baines, Steven Pienaar and Phil Jagielka making good progress on their recovery trail but it looks unlikely that the trio will be featuring against Bournemouth.

Tim Howard will be the undisputed man to be starting in goal on the night, while the back four should consist of Brendan Galloway, Ramiro Funes Mori, John Stones and Seamus Coleman.

In midfield, the ever consistent duo of Gareth Barry and James McCarthy will be starting, while the attacking midfield positions are likely to be occupied by the likes of Arouna Kone, Ross Barkley and Gerard Deulofeu.

Romelu Lukaku has been in a hot streak in front of goal and the Belgian international will surely be keen on adding to his nine goals this season with another strike on the day.

Probable Lineups

AFC Bournemouth (Probable XI): Federici; Daniels, Cook, Distin, Francis; Surman, Stanislas, Arter, Gosling, Ritchie; King

Everton have not played against Bournemouth in the Premier League and it remains to be seen how the match will turn out.

Bournemouth are in a terrible run of form but they have given even the best of teams a difficult time at the Vitality Stadium and one can be sure that Everton will not find it easy on the day.

Given Everton’s brilliant form at the moment, they should be able to claim a victory and the match is likely to be a high scoring affair.

AFC Bournemouth 1 – 3 Everton
